Katie Murphy - Lic Ac MTCMCI MGPP, ITEC, MIFA
Katie first started up as a Massage therapist, receiving both an ITEC dip in Anatomy, Physiology & Body Massage, and Aromatherapy in 1999, with Elizabeth Jones,Hampshire, England, adding Sports & Remedial Massage in 2000.
Katie studied Acupuncture at The College of Medical Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, gaining her Licentiate in Acupuncture in September 2004. Following this Katie travelled to Shanghai, China, where she carried out her post graduate training at No6 People’s Hospital. Under the watchful eye of Wu Yaochi Professor of the Clinic College of Shanghai Second Medical University.
Finally Katie opened up The Clonmel Acupuncture Centre in March 2005. Katie became interested in treating Fertility and lower back pain, after her trip to China. Although she happily treats all conditions.
Katie has worked in IVF treatment centres, giving patients acupuncture Pre and Post transfer. She has over 10 years of experience helping couples to conceive, and supporting them through pregnancy. Many patients come from referrals from gynaecologists and obstetricians.
In June 2011 Katie and her husband Marc had their long awaited baby boy called Josh. Experiencing pregnancy and birth has given Katie a better understanding when treating pregnant patients. In December 2012 Katie had a beautiful baby girl called Heather.

Ann Marie McGrath
Ann Marie qualified with a Diploma in Acupuncture from The Acupuncture Foundation in Dublin, having trained under highly respected traditional chinese medicine teachers including Professor Jin Huide, Dr Jidong Wu and Dr Fanyi Meng.
Ann Marie subsequently completed a clinical internship in the World Health Organisation Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam where she treated a variety of conditions including musculoskeletal, neurological, insomnia and cancer care.
Having a strong interest in musculoskeletal conditions, Ann Marie trained in TuiNa and qualified from The Institute of Natural Medicine Ireland with a Diploma in TuiNa. During this training she completed 250 clinical hours in a busy TuiNa clinic in Dublin.
TuiNa is a form of massage therapy and can enhance an acupuncture treatment or can be used as a stand alone treatment. It's main use is for musculoskeletal conditions but it is also widely used to treat stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, headaches, IBS, PMS, and disorders relating to the digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems.
Ann Marie is a health enthusiast and enjoys being active, practising Tai Chi, travelling and spending time with her family and dogs.
